Over the years, Shanghai Totole Food co., Ltd. has been committed to the spread of Xian science, continuously explore on Xian science in thirty years, aims to promote the development of the industry and lead industry innovation. Totole focuses on the customers and the enterprise concept, popularizes knowledge of Xian, continuously optimizes Xian solution, and makes efforts to solve the problem of category, brand, product.

Corporate History:

On April 29, 1984, the founder of Totole, Mr. Rong Yaozhong, went to Nanle County of Henan Province and Puge County of Sichuan Province with the task of poverty alleviation. He found that local production was low, but many farmers raised chickens without a market. With reference to the Japanese flavoring nucleotide technology, he and his team of technicians carried out the research of chicken by using the freshening effect theory. In October 1984, it produced an umami bouillon based on chicken and named it "chicken bouillon".

In 1988, Mr. Rong Yaozhong determined to take the road of industrial poverty alleviation and established an all-round industrial value chain by taking chicken bouillon products as an opportunity. In June 1988, the predecessor of Shanghai Totole Food co., Ltd., Shanghai Jiale Seasoning and Food Factory, was established and put into operation in Jiading, Shanghai. Through six years of unremitting efforts, in 1994, the production and sales of chicken bouillon exceeded 3,000 tons, laying an industrialization foundation for China's new umami industry, and Totole also embarked on the road of high-speed development. In 1995, Totole laid the foundation of 56,000 tons chicken bouillon project and set the strategic target of breaking 56,000 tons of annual output and sales in the first strategic stage. Leading in Xian only because of the responsibility in the shoulder, the company always sticks to the goal of letting 1.3 billion people taste more delicious taste, this sentence contains the mission of the company to lead the development of the whole condiment industry.

Around 2000, the rapid development of the chicken essence industry, also quickly attracted some followers, the good and bad products are intermingled in the industry. In March 2001, China condiment association sent a letter to entrust Mr. Rong Yaozhong and his team to draft the industry standard. The industry standard of chicken essence seasoning (SB/T 10371-2003) was released in January 2003 and came into effect on July 1, 2004. Industry standards have brought important influence to the standardized development of chicken essence industry and improved the overall level of chicken essence industry.

In 2007, Totole opened a transparent industrial tourism channel, allowing consumers across the country to watch the whole process of chicken bouillon production and experience the real process of chicken bouillon production. In order to better popularize the knowledge of Xian, in 2012, Totole founded the Xian museum, which was upgraded in 2018. In January 2017, the book of Introduction to Xian Science and Chicken Seasoning Technology edited by Totole was published, which enabled more people to know and learn about Xian, and systematically introduce Xian scientific knowledge and industrial development to consumers and industries.

In order to promote the prosperity and development of Xian science in the world and promote the technological innovation of Xian industry, on the morning of October 18, 2018, the 6th international seminar on Xian science and quality life, sponsored by Shanghai Totole food co., LTD, was held in the international conference hall of Shanghai Science Hall. The conference invited more than 300 umami scientists from Japan, the United States, Germany and Switzerland, as well as experts from China's first-class food universities and research institutions, industry leaders and executives of well-known food-related enterprises, which attracted great attention from the industry and the society.

In order to better implement the national development strategy of "enterprises become the main body of innovation and accelerate the in-depth integration of industry, university and research", Totole was approved by Shanghai academician expert workstation guidance office in August 2019 to establish Totole academician expert workstation and realize greater leap in scientific research innovation. With the aim of "strengthening scientific research on Xian and improving the quality of human life", Totole academician expert workstation will focus on improving the ability of independent innovation in scientific research and constantly achieve fundamental, strategic and original achievements. At the same time, Totole will establish a joint mechanism with authoritative universities and experts in Xian science to form a efficient production, learning and research base, train more scientific and innovative talents, and make applied contributions to the development of Xian science worldwide.

On October 16, 2019, under the strong support and guidance of Shanghai Association for Science and Technology, Shanghai Totole food co., ltd. held Totole Xian science assisted scientific innovation seminar in 2019 in Jingan Indigo hotel, Shanghai. The theme of the seminar was "Xian science and ingenuity". The seminar discussed the development of Xian industry and the innovation and progress of Xian science and technology. It was a new step of Totole in our country's Xian industry.

Promoting Xian science:

(1) Publishing a monograph of Introduction to Xian Science and Chicken Seasoning Technology

Publishing a monograph of Introduction to Xian Science and Chicken Seasoning Technology Xian science and industrial development is introduced firstly in the industry to unveil the mystery of the Xian, and through the introduction of the design of chicken bouillon and the processing link, make consumers know more about raw materials, formulation design, production technology and equipment, quality and safety control and so on. The book enables consumers to have a more scientific and comprehensive understanding of chicken bouillon, and also hopes to give some technical references to peers and those who are interested in the compound flavoring industry.

(2) Filming the documentary the Secret of Xian

The secret of Xian is a large-scale scientific documentary on human cuisine co-produced by Shanghai Totole Food co., Ltd. and related organizations. From the perspective of Xian  science, the film expands the cognitive field of food culture through scientific interpretation and the extension of human taste history, and seeks the historical origin of Xian from a new perspective to explore the world's top Xian. The film has a total of 30 stories in 6 episodes, namely "Xian Country", "Magic of Time", "A Match Made in Heaven", "Living Xian", "Fresh Xian", "Xian Endless". It not only reveals the scientific nature of Xian at the molecular level of the micro world, but also has a history of millions of years and regional civilization and food culture covering 7 countries in Europe and Asia.

(3) Holding the 6th International Symposium on Xian Science and Quality Life

In order to further promote the prosperity and development of Xian science in the world, drive the technological innovation of Xian industry and better guarantee people's quality life, Shanghai Totole Food co., Ltd. held the 6th international Xian seminar in Shanghai on October 18, 2018. The symposium with "Xian Science and Quality Life" as the theme, aimed to respect knowledge, respect science, eliminate fallacy and views, discussed from the basic research of the application, nutrition, health, Xian industry and high technology, shared the latest scientific research achievements in the field and development trend, strengthened the international academic exchange, built technology and industry cooperation platform, promoted healthy and rapid development of freshness Xian and industrial applications, lead the scientific application of fashion trends.

(4) Organizing the Totole Xian Science Knowledge Competition

In order to spread Xian science and promote Xian culture, Shanghai Totole food co., ltd. held the national Xian science knowledge competition for two consecutive years since 2018. Through online and offline interaction, the contest invited practitioners in scientific research institutions, professionals in the industry, students from institutions of universities, as well as the public interested in Xian science to participate in the Xian exploration tour.

(5) Upgrading the Xian museum

Totole started the trip of Xian in 2007, as one of the national industrial tourism demonstration centers, Totole complete the upgrade of the trip of Xian in May 2018, from the origin, techniques, characters, ingredients, food, products, and implements, seven dimensions of Xian. Through the application of 3D vision, AR technology and other intelligent technologies and interesting interactive experience, the evolution of Xian and the whole process of human exploration of Xian are demonstrated.

(6) Promoting the rapid development of food industry through the high-quality development of Xian industry.

In order to meet consumer demand for healthy and tasty products, we have developed the series seasoning of Totole Authentic Xian, driving the rapid development of the condiment industry. (7) Establishing Totole academician expert workstation

Guided by the demands of scientific research innovation and combined with science and technology research of high-level innovative platform, Totole established academician expert workstation in 2019, which adhere to the idea of "strengthen the Xian science research and enhance the quality of life". The workstation will continue to improve the capacity for independent innovation, train more talents for scientific research, and make applied contributions to the development of Xian science worldwide.

(8) Hold 2019 Xian science assisted scientific innovation seminar

Under the strong support and guidance of Shanghai association for science and technology, the 2019 Totole umami science assisted scientific innovation seminar was held. With the theme of "Xian science and ingenuity", the seminar was mainly composed of three sections: science and technology forum, Totole award for taster, technologist and food security researcher and the final of the 2nd umami science knowledge competition. The seminar invited experts and scholars from China's food universities and research institutions, as well as leaders and technicians from well-known enterprises related to condiments, food ingredients and additives to witness the event.
